The honest version
Kuala Lumpur does most of what Singapore does at a materially lower cost, with English widely spoken across the supply chain and a convention centre in the middle of the city. For regional conferences and incentive programmes it is frequently the sensible answer that nobody proposed.
It also serves as an efficient base for programmes combining a city conference with a resort element in Langkawi or Penang.

Reasonable, though traffic builds at peak. Airport transfers take about an hour; the express rail is a good option for smaller groups.
