Asia Pacific · SIN
Singapore The region’s most reliable place to run a complex event
Everything works. Expensive, and worth it when the programme cannot afford surprises.
The honest version
Singapore is where you put an event that must not go wrong. Venues are excellent, suppliers are professional, the airport is the best in the region, visas are simple for most nationalities and the whole city is thirty minutes across.
The trade-off is cost. It is one of the more expensive destinations in Asia, and the answer is usually to accept that and reduce risk elsewhere, rather than to move the event somewhere cheaper and spend the saving on contingency.
Best suited to
- Regional headquarters conferences
- Technology and financial services summits
- Association congresses
- Exhibitions with a pan-Asian audience
- Executive and leadership programmes

Operating notes
What actually decides whether Singapore works for you.
Airlift, hotel capacity, ground and season — in that order, and before anyone falls in love with a photograph.
Access and airlift
Changi (SIN) is comprehensively connected across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Gulf and Australia, with fast immigration and short airport-to-city transfers.
Hotels and capacity
Deep, high-quality inventory concentrated around Marina Bay, Orchard and the CBD, with large blocks possible in the integrated resorts.
Ground and distance
Short transfers, excellent public transport and reliable coach operators. Vehicle costs are high because of the ownership regime.
Season and calendar
Year-round. Rain is frequent but brief and rarely disrupts an indoor programme. Major shows and the Grand Prix weekend compress availability.
