Middle East & Gulf · DXB
Dubai The default answer for a large international corporate event
Enormous venue inventory, direct flights from almost everywhere and a hospitality industry built around exactly this work.
The honest version
Dubai is the most operationally straightforward large-event destination in the region and often in the world. Two airports, a hub carrier reaching most of the planet non-stop, tens of thousands of hotel rooms within thirty minutes of the exhibition district, and a supply chain that has been serving conventions and exhibitions for decades.
What it asks of you is planning discipline rather than ingenuity. Peak season is genuinely full — a February date confirmed in November will cost you — and summer is a different city. Get the dates early and Dubai does the rest with less friction than almost anywhere.
Best suited to
- International conferences and conventions
- Trade exhibitions and country pavilions
- Dealer meets and channel conventions
- Product launches and brand showcases
- Incentive programmes with a city-and-desert mix

Operating notes
What actually decides whether Dubai works for you.
Airlift, hotel capacity, ground and season — in that order, and before anyone falls in love with a photograph.
Access and airlift
Dubai International (DXB) is one of the world’s busiest international hubs with non-stop service from most major markets; Al Maktoum (DWC) serves the southern side. Visa on arrival or e-visa for many nationalities, with clear processes for the rest.
Hotels and capacity
Very deep inventory across every category, with genuine capacity for blocks of several hundred rooms in one property. Rates swing hard by season — the same room can double between August and February.
Ground and distance
Well-organised coach and limousine operators, short transfer times outside peak traffic, and a metro that works for smaller groups. Allow generously for the 17:00–20:00 window on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Season and calendar
October to April is the working season and books out early. May to September is hot enough to reshape a programme, but rates fall sharply and indoor events run perfectly well.
