The honest version
Vietnam has quietly become one of the best-value incentive destinations in Asia, and Ho Chi Minh City is the natural arrival point. Hotel quality has moved a long way, the food is a programme in itself, and the cost per head lands well below Thailand or Malaysia for comparable standards.
It also works for manufacturing and supply-chain conferences, because that is what much of the region is now doing. The operational catch is the airport: Tan Son Nhat is congested and sits inside the city, so arrival and departure waves need real planning until Long Thanh opens.

Tan Son Nhat (SGN) has good regional coverage and growing long-haul, and is congested at peak. Da Nang (DAD) and Phu Quoc (PQC) are short domestic hops for programme extensions.

Strong international and domestic stock at genuinely competitive rates. Large blocks are achievable with reasonable notice.
Ground and distance
Traffic is dense and motorbike-dominated. Coach movements need generous allowances, and arrival transfers should be waved rather than batched.
Season and calendar
December to April is dry and comfortable. The wet season from May to November brings heavy afternoon rain, which matters for any outdoor evening.
