The honest version
Baku works because it is close to the Gulf, Türkiye and Russia, visually distinctive, and still unfamiliar to most corporate audiences — which is exactly what an incentive programme wants. Venue and hotel quality is good, and costs sit well below western Europe.
It suits mid-scale programmes. Very large events stretch the supply chain, and it pays to keep the group in one hotel cluster.

- Good five-star inventory concentrated near the boulevard and the old city.

- Short transfers, light traffic by regional standards, and a compact usable centre.
- 04Season and calendar
- May to June and September to October are best. The Formula 1 street circuit weekend closes much of the centre.
