Asia Pacific · HKG
Hong KongDense, fast and built for trade
A harbour-front convention centre, a major cargo and passenger hub, and a city that runs on business meetings.
The honest version
Hong Kong is compact, efficient and enormously well suited to trade exhibitions and financial-sector events. The convention centre sits on the harbour with hotels attached, the airport is excellent, and the whole city is accessible on foot and by rail.
It works best for programmes with a north-Asian audience and for exhibitions where freight and buyer traffic matter.
Best suited to
- Trade exhibitions and buyer programmes
- Financial services and professional forums
- Regional conferences with a Greater China audience
- Product showcases for north-Asian markets

Operating notes
What actually decides whether Hong Kong works for you.
Airlift, hotel capacity, ground and season — in that order, and before anyone falls in love with a photograph.
Access and airlift
HKG is a major international hub with strong cargo capability, and connects onward to mainland China by rail, road and ferry.
Hotels and capacity
High-quality inventory in Central, Wan Chai and Kowloon, much of it adjacent to the convention centre.
Ground and distance
Excellent rail and metro, short distances, and manageable coach movements. The airport express is genuinely useful for groups.
Season and calendar
October to December is the best weather and the busiest exhibition period. Summer is hot and humid with a typhoon risk.
