Automotive & Mobility

Large channel audiences, physical product on stage and regional travel from everywhere — three logistics problems in one programme.

Dealer meets · reveals · plant events

The shape of the work

Automotive events move people and objects. A dealer convention brings several hundred partners from many cities; a reveal puts a two-tonne product on a stage that has to take the load and a floor that has to take the turn.

We plan the vehicle logistics with the same seriousness as the delegate logistics, because both have a load-in window and neither can be improvised.

What this sector needs from an agency

  • Vehicle staging and venue load assessment
  • Regional travel desks and arrival waves
  • Awards and recognition production
  • Large-scale hotel blocks and rooming
  • Plant and factory event safety planning
  • Gifting logistics across markets

Sector reality

Four things that decide the plan.

01

The product has to get on stage

Floor loading, ramp gradients, turning circles, lift dimensions, fuel and battery regulations, and a venue that will permit a vehicle indoors at all. Checked at site inspection, not assumed.

02

Dealer travel from many origins

Several hundred partners from many cities with head counts that move in the final fortnight. Grouping by departure city controls cost and produces arrival waves the ground plan can rely on.

03

The awards night carries the year

Dealer recognition is the emotional core of the convention. Categories ordered by weight, names correct, films that name people, and a ceremony that finishes on time.

04

Reveals are a rehearsed sequence

Lighting, audio, automation or drape, and the vehicle arriving where it should. Rehearsed enough times to work with the room full.
