Members served, surplus protected
Association Executives
You are judged by a board and a membership at once — the congress has to serve members and fund the year.
For most associations the annual congress is both the biggest service to members and a substantial part of the income. It is run by volunteers with day jobs, to a constitution, with a board reviewing the surplus afterwards.
We work to your committee’s calendar, run the abstract and programme workflow, and manage registration, sponsorship and exhibition as three separate business lines because they have three different customers.
What you are judged on
- Whether members felt the congress was worth attending
- Whether the surplus met the board’s expectation
- Whether sponsors and exhibitors will return
- Whether the volunteer committee was supported rather than burdened
- Whether the handover to the next host city was clean
What we give you
Four things, specifically for your job.
A plan that absorbs volunteer timelines
Committee decisions slip. The critical path is built so that the print, floorplan and room deadlines survive it — and you are told early when they will not.
Three revenue lines managed properly
Registration, sponsorship and exhibition each with their own targets, communications and delivery record.
Abstract and programme workflow
Submission, peer review, committee scheduling and the resulting programme run as one pipeline, because the programme drives everything downstream.
A clean handover between host cities
Written destination playbooks, transferable supplier records and data your own systems can absorb — so rotation does not restart the learning each year.
Formats you usually own

Procurement & Finance
You are judged on whether the commercial arrangement stands up to scrutiny afterwards — not on how the gala looked.

You are judged on how the company felt about the event afterwards — which is decided by logistics far more than by content.

You are judged on attendance, brand impression and what the event did to the pipeline — three numbers, one date.

Send us what you are accountable for and what you will need to be able to prove afterwards. We will tell you how we would run it, what we would put in writing, and where the exposure actually sits.
