Access and airlift
Ngurah Rai (DPS) has strong regional and increasing long-haul service, with visa on arrival for many nationalities.
Humberto Delgado (LIS) has strong European coverage plus Americas and Africa links; the airport is unusually close to the city.

Large resort inventory in Nusa Dua with real conference capability; boutique inventory elsewhere on the island.
Good quality and value, but capacity is the constraint in peak weeks.
Ground
Short and easy within Nusa Dua. Anywhere else, traffic is severe and journey times are unpredictable — plan around it rather than through it.
Short transfers and an easy city to move around. Hills and narrow old-town streets restrict coach access in places.
Season
April to October is drier and busier. Nyepi, the day of silence, closes the entire island including the airport — check the date before anything else.
April to June and September to October are best. Major congress weeks remove hotel availability entirely.
